As soon as i come up with something i'd like to do, it has to happen straight away. No chance to postpone it. No plan, no thinking it over or being thoughtful. Sometimes it really works. I go to the shop and buy lots of new aquarell colors, no matter if i know exactly which ones i need / already have or not. In this case i was very lucky. They were all very useful and beautiful. Another time it's terrible. Like when i decided to install our new bathroom mirror, yesterday morning, before having my first coffee. I broke one corner (in the picture cleverly hidden by lamb) and 10 minutes after i took this picture, it fell down on one side, because my hanging system behind wasn't very stabile.
In most of the cases i'm glad that i stick to my try-an-error-system. It can be a very quick and easy way to satisfaction. Whenever it doesn't work, it's even worse afterwards. But that's the price to pay.
P.S.: Is breaking the corner of a mirror considered to be smashing a mirror? And therefore bad-luck-bringing? Or can i file it under having "scretched" it... which i assume is harmelss?
